Why we supply olsson's salt

For generations the Olsson family have trusted Mother Nature in creating exquisite sea salt using a natural method of “solar evaporation”.Within the large ponds the seawater quickly evaporates, leaving behind beautifully crystallized salt that is scooped up, washed, then packaged. That’s it. No chemicals, just perfectly natural sea salt.

Solar salt plants are ideally located where there is low rainfall and high evaporation rates. Unlike any other salt producers in the world, Olsson’s have a unique advantage of using seawater from two of the most pristine oceans; The Great Barrier Reef ofQueensland, and The Great Australian Bight in South Australia.
